What makes a private library baller? How about 3,600 square feet filled with landmark and bejeweled books, an original Sputnik 1 satellite hanging from the ceiling, a chandelier from a James Bond film, and three levels packed with more rare artifacts than your local history museum? As Wire revealed in a recent piece, you’ll find all of this and more in internet entrepreneur Jay Walker’s unbelievable New England crib. The founder of technology think tank Walker Digital, Jay Walker set out to create a space dedicated to the human imagination. The result is a functional fantasy land that serves as a shrine to creativity, and inspiration for anyone looking to build their own baller home library.

“New Yorkers don’t care about art, they care about pets. So I’m exhibiting them instead. I wanted to make art that questioned our relationship with animals and the ethics and sustainability of factory farming, but it ended up as chicken nuggets singing. I took all the money I made exploiting an animal in my last show and used it to fund a new show about the exploitation of animals. If its art and you can see it from the street, I guess it could still be considered street art." One of our favorite things about what Banksy has done is that the entire show is completely visible to the public both day and night through the store front windows. And unless you're a hard core Banksy fan, or until someone like us tells you, it's absolutely impossible to know that the work has been done by Banksy. There are no paintings or graffiti in the entire space. So here's just a taste of what you'll experience in Banksy's "Village Pet Store and Charcoal Grill".
What's this? A flying car that will actually exist, roll on real streets and highways and then take off into the wild blue? You betcha. It's more like a drivable airplane, but we'd rather call it a flying car.
