Kanye West - Robocop

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
I’m sure your first reaction to seeing the name of Kanye’s newly leaked song “Robocop” from his now epically anticipated album 808’s and Heartbreaks is either of confusion or amusement or maybe both. What is for certain is that Kanye refuses to follow a normal template for the construction of his new album and is proving it with every new song released. “Robocop” steals its name from the late 80s Cyberpunk cult classic film of the same name. Kanye uses the word as a tongue and cheek reference to a prying significant other. The beat comes equipped with robot sound effects, synthesizer stabs and of course auto tune vocals. The track is welcomed as a bit more lighthearted then we’ve been hearing from Kanye lately.

Kanye West - Coldest Winter

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Although we’ve gotten at least two pleasantly morbid track from Kanye’s upcoming opus 808’s and Heartbreak neither of those compare to how utterly emotional “Coldest Winter” is. On this latest leak from the album Kanye pours his heart and soul into the track as he croons to the top of his lungs (with auto tune along for the ride of course) about the running theme on the album, lost love.

Pepperballs machine gun

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
When a gun or Taser is overkill and a pocket knife won't get the job done, here's a self-defense device that can put a stinging stream of hot pepper balls right where it hurts. FlashLauncher looks like a big flashlight, and it can work like one, too, with its 100-lumen light. But that's going to come in handy when you need to aim those pepperballs right where you want them, made more accurate by laser-assisted aiming.

BRAD STRUT - Authentic LP - limited edition re-issue

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
One of the first ever full length solo Australian hip hop albums, Brad Strut’s Authentic was a landmark release when it dropped in 2001. The Melbourne MC connected with Bias B, Bigfoot, Brisbane icons Brothers Stoney, the original Seany B (4ZZZ’s long running Phat Tape Radio Show) and Ken Oath (750 Rebels) to craft a template for much of the local hip hop that was to follow. The album also features the original Lyrical Commission line-up of Brad, Trem, Bob Balans and Rob Nat. Produced by an all star line-up of Prowla, Lazy Grey, Trem, Seany B, Mnemonic Ascent and Jase, Authentic boasts a dusty production style that helped put Australian hip hop on the world stage. As if proof of this was needed, DJ Numark of Jurassic 5 included lead track “A Good Thing” on his first official DJ mix release, Hands On. In stores October 25th.
