Kanye West - Robocop
I’m sure your first reaction to seeing the name of Kanye’s newly leaked song “Robocop” from his now epically anticipated album 808’s and Heartbreaks is either of confusion or amusement or maybe both. What is for certain is that Kanye refuses to follow a normal template for the construction of his new album and is proving it with every new song released. “Robocop” steals its name from the late 80s Cyberpunk cult classic film of the same name. Kanye uses the word as a tongue and cheek reference to a prying significant other. The beat comes equipped with robot sound effects, synthesizer stabs and of course auto tune vocals. The track is welcomed as a bit more lighthearted then we’ve been hearing from Kanye lately.

Kanye West - Coldest Winter
Although we’ve gotten at least two pleasantly morbid track from Kanye’s upcoming opus 808’s and Heartbreak neither of those compare to how utterly emotional “Coldest Winter” is. On this latest leak from the album Kanye pours his heart and soul into the track as he croons to the top of his lungs (with auto tune along for the ride of course) about the running theme on the album, lost love.

Pepperballs machine gun
When a gun or Taser is overkill and a pocket knife won't get the job done, here's a self-defense device that can put a stinging stream of hot pepper balls right where it hurts. FlashLauncher looks like a big flashlight, and it can work like one, too, with its 100-lumen light. But that's going to come in handy when you need to aim those pepperballs right where you want them, made more accurate by laser-assisted aiming.

TONIGHT - The Threadbare Tour
BRAD STRUT - Authentic LP - limited edition re-issue
One of the first ever full length solo Australian hip hop albums, Brad Strut’s Authentic was a landmark release when it dropped in 2001. The Melbourne MC connected with Bias B, Bigfoot, Brisbane icons Brothers Stoney, the original Seany B (4ZZZ’s long running Phat Tape Radio Show) and Ken Oath (750 Rebels) to craft a template for much of the local hip hop that was to follow. The album also features the original Lyrical Commission line-up of Brad, Trem, Bob Balans and Rob Nat. Produced by an all star line-up of Prowla, Lazy Grey, Trem, Seany B, Mnemonic Ascent and Jase, Authentic boasts a dusty production style that helped put Australian hip hop on the world stage. As if proof of this was needed, DJ Numark of Jurassic 5 included lead track “A Good Thing” on his first official DJ mix release, Hands On. In stores October 25th.

Air Jordan 1 High Retro - Laser
The Air Jordan 1 High Laser features an intricate laser design appearing on the mid panel and on the toe box. Furthermore, the rest of the sneaker is composed of a simple black and white color-way and a gum-sole. This particular version of the seems to stand out from the rest of the past Air Jordan 1 models since it incorporate a contemporary concept staying away from the classic two tone look. The Most Baller Private Library Ever
What makes a private library baller? How about 3,600 square feet filled with landmark and bejeweled books, an original Sputnik 1 satellite hanging from the ceiling, a chandelier from a James Bond film, and three levels packed with more rare artifacts than your local history museum? As Wire revealed in a recent piece, you’ll find all of this and more in internet entrepreneur Jay Walker’s unbelievable New England crib. The founder of technology think tank Walker Digital, Jay Walker set out to create a space dedicated to the human imagination. The result is a functional fantasy land that serves as a shrine to creativity, and inspiration for anyone looking to build their own baller home library.

How about a milli, in cash? For rapper Lil Wayne’s 26th birthday at Club Mansion in Miami, his adopted-father, Baby a.k.a. Birdman, handed him a briefcase full of $1 million in crisp bills. A tribute to selling one million albums in the first week with Tha Carter III. “Lil Wayne was left speechless. He was almost in tears when he hugged his friend,” according to one party guest. An ice sculpture full of frozen $100 bills served as the centerpiece at the party.

Banksy Talks About The Village Pet Store and Charcoal Grill
From Banksy:
“New Yorkers don’t care about art, they care about pets. So I’m exhibiting them instead. I wanted to make art that questioned our relationship with animals and the ethics and sustainability of factory farming, but it ended up as chicken nuggets singing. I took all the money I made exploiting an animal in my last show and used it to fund a new show about the exploitation of animals. If its art and you can see it from the street, I guess it could still be considered street art."
One of our favorite things about what Banksy has done is that the entire show is completely visible to the public both day and night through the store front windows. And unless you're a hard core Banksy fan, or until someone like us tells you, it's absolutely impossible to know that the work has been done by Banksy. There are no paintings or graffiti in the entire space.
So here's just a taste of what you'll experience in Banksy's "Village Pet Store and Charcoal Grill".
