Roca’s Waterdrop Exhibit Makes A Splash
Héctor Serrano Studio created the installation in collaboration with Javier Esteban by using a framework of glowing blue metal rods and an underlying rolling mechanism to mimic the movement produced by a single drop of water. The work was commissioned by innovative bathroom designers Roca, who recently displayed it in a dark room at the 100% Design London event.

Banksy’s Three Story Piece in Soho
The refreshing onslaught of street art continues. Arriving on a wall near Grand street and Wooster in Manahattan’s Soho is Banksy’s latest work, a three-story high commisioned rat donning the iconic ‘I heart NY’ t-shirt. The piece was painted by professional sign painters Colossal, who must be fighting over the keeper rights to Banksy’s sketch for the piece.

Nike Air Tech Challenge Hybrid & Nike Air Huarache LE 2009 Previews
Taking elements from all three series of the Air Tech Challenge, Nike introduces the Air Tech Challenge Hybrid. Made popular by tennis legend Andre Agassi in the ’90s, the kicks feature Nike’s trademark air technology alongside a nostalgic old school colorway reminiscent of the fourth series Air Tech Challenge model. The shoes are expected to be a 2009 release, stay tuned for more info in the coming months.
With the new year only a few months away, Nike gives us a preview of their 2009 LE releases. Taking design features from its ’90s Huarache model, the company has produced basketball, baseball and even training kicks with that very same technology due to its stability and comfortability. In its natural form, the running shoe once again sees a re-emergence in 2009 with a run of limited edition colorways including a couple with tribal print paneling.

Where do I start?
Just arrived back from Tokyo today & feeling like I need a another holiday to recover from my week in Japan.
If you have never been, you are missing out on the coolest city I have ever been to. The boys there are super fresh, & the girls are even fresher. The shopping is mouth watering & the nightlife is almost as good as the food. Its like flying 9 hours to the future. I will try & sort through my collection to bring you my experience as I know I have not been keeping up with keep moving.
First up I must shout out Hoodrat & Doom from the Bang Gang for getting my ass over there. Big shouts to all my nonsense ninjas who kept the crew deep as fuck. John Bobby Beullens for showing mad love to 10 drunk aussies. Urthboy & Elgusto for a dope night of sushi & beer, NIKE japan for inviting us down to their design studio / sample office to show us all the latest creations & hooking us the fuck up. Dex Pistols & Low Brow for helping us abuse our brain, Vocal from the Teriyaki Boys for some mad hook ups & all the other people we met along the way, much much love.
Ok Guess I will start off with some footage from the Nike studio. Peep the unreleased room & Jovi Bear customing some Air Mac 90s. Sorry you missed this one Bouch . . .

Paste Modernism
New trends in street art are usually so fickle and under-established that even the slightest bit of organization within a movement can reveal great potential, or fall apart completely. Luckily this is a tale of the former.

The Silverfish Aquarium
Designed by Octopus Studios, the Silverfish Aquarium is a futuristic fish tank that looks inspired by The Jetsons. It also looks like it could be converted into the world’s craziest bong. Holding 60 gallons, the Silverfish Aquarium comes with six interconnected habitats and includes all the necessary pumps and filters. Each tank is custom made at a cost of $6,500. This crazy fish tank has a style like no other and made an impression on us instantly. We would however like to see a bigger version for our larger tropical fish, and maybe a shark or two.

Fresh off the billions of eyes that have been on the beautiful Beijing National Stadium, Swiss architects Herzog and de Meuron have set their sights on NYC with this incredible 57-story residential tower, unveiled today. It consists of 145 unique apartments that are stacked into the sky like a Jenga tower that’s already been well-poked by a party of well-lubricated players. Especially when you get up to the penthouse level—if you’re motion sick, you might want to think twice about dropping $33 mil for such a beautiful place when you’ll wake up every morning feeling like you’re dangling off a cliff…

Look for these to release this upcoming weekend, Saturday, September 20th at select Jordan accounts.

A Skull Shaped Deprivation Chamber
In neurophysiology, there had been an open question as to what keeps the brain going and the origin of its energy sources. One answer was that the energy sources are biological and internal and do not depend upon the outside environment. It was argued that if all stimuli is cut off to the brain then the brain would go to sleep. To isolated an individual from external stimulation sends us deep into the unconscious where weird & beautiful things grow.

A Giant Takes On Physics’ Biggest Questions
At Cern, the Large Hadron Collider could recreate conditions that last prevailed when the universe was less than a trillionth of a second old. Above is one of the collider's massive particle detectors, called the Compact Muon Solenoid.
The Large Hadron Collider was built to look at how the Universe was created by analyzing particle collisions. This has quit a lot of people a little nervous since no one knows what could happen if things go wrong. Either way it’s still a very interesting project which deserves more reading.
