GUERNICA - UPDATED

I am sure all you art students out there have studied Pablo Picasso's Guernica at some point & regardless of the fact that Interpretations of Guernica vary widely and contradict one another we can all agree on the monumental status this work has gained. It has become a reminder of the tragedies of war, an anti-war symbol, and an embodiment of peace.
This masterpiece is arguably one of the most recognizable pieces from the Spanish painter. The famous painting depicts the bombing of Guernica, a Basque town, during the Spanish Civil War in 1937.

Primary Flight - The worlds largest site-specific, street level, mural installation is on again & Ron English has been busy working on a mural of his own. Ron’s hand painted rendition of Guernica features many of his most identifiable characters & pays tribute to the original masterpiece
